The renovation was finished. “Refurbish” may be the right word. I learned from Longman dictionary that “refurbish” is to decorate and repair something such as a building or office in order to improve its appearance. This time I replaced kitchen unit and repapered living and kitchen room.
English is difficult…
Since I have never lived in a newly built house before, the new living and kitchen room makes me very happy but also a bit nervous. Today organizing kitchen goods, I am too careful to use the new kitchen. It was replaced to be used conveniently, not just to be displayed and appreciated. Saying so to myself, I determine to use new kitchen with care. It does not means to prevent getting dirty but means to keep clean. I would frequently use the kitchen, and clean up and put away things after using them.
Cooking will be more fun!
