At the end of a year, Japanese people traditionally eat soba (buckwheat noodles) wishing for health and longevity in the coming year. They say that the thin and long noodles represent good health and longevity.

Dried soba noodles which are made from 80% buckwheat flour and 20% wheat flour has 346cal per 100g and contain 16.8g of protein. What a rich protein source!

Path to Veganish Lifestyle

About six months have passed since I decided to eat less meat. Until then, I never imagined myself giving up eating anything I wanted to. But now I ask myself if I used to eat it because I did like it, if I really used to savor its taste, if I will be sad without it. The answer is not always yes.

Plant origin food is rich in both taste and nutrition. Learning about VEGAN diets, I am recognizing how many wrong assumptions I used to make.

Most prepared meals and restaurant ones are not made for vegetarians or vegans.

My small but realistic problems are how to make time for cooking from scratch or wisely search for vegan food materials.

Anyway, I will keep finding pleasure in going VEGAN!
