New Year dishes are prepared to eat during the first three days of January. 

People used to make them at home but nowadays a variety of dishes are selling. Fish and meat are indispensable ingredients. Vegetables are usually cooked with bonito soup stock.

As a step toward veganish style, I made New Year dishes for the first time. I made the soup stock from only sea kelp and shiitake mushroom. The taste is not too bad. Honestly, some items are processed dishes but I carefully bought them after making sure that any animal products were contained.

New Year Resolution
