Twice a month I go to an animal shelter to volunteer a few hours cleaning the cat shelter. I have never lived with cats but sometimes feel like doing.
My main task is cleaning cats’ toilets and gages. There are a lot of cats who need special medical care like medication and drip. Experienced volunteers are always bustling and often creating a strained atmosphere.
I can not do an important work yet and even it is difficult for me to remember who each cat is. But I fully enjoy the totally different experience from my daily job. I feel as if I can experience a different world.
I wonder if I will have a fateful encounter with a cat or cats? I want to bring home with me.
