Miniature rose in my balcony is now having a lot of buds.

So many aphids were infesting around the each bud, though I did I not see them last year. Using package tape, I removed almost all of them slowly and carefully.

To protect rose flowers, I killed a lot of buds… They are bad bugs for me and the roses but they just drink the plant juice as their essential food…

Flowers (maybe Primula?) also has some buds and some of them begins to open. As they did not have flowers last year and the year before last, I am happy to see them this year. Besides it is a relief that no bugs are approaching them.

Deep fried Kuruma-Fu

Deep fried Kuruma-Fu (wheat gluten in the shape of car wheel) was made very easily using ready-made flour. The flour I bought is already seasoned with soy sauce, ginger, garlic, etc. for home made deep-fried chicken. Kuruma-Fu was thoroughly soaked in the water overnight, squeezed tightly and dipped into the ready-made flour mixed with water before deep-fried.

When using bread crumbs, it was difficult how much moisture should in Kruma-Fu to make something like cutlets.

This time, the deep-fried Kuruma-Fu is not like deep-fried chicken or pork cutlets but the original taste is really good. The amount of moisture is not so important. Every each different texture or crispness is enjoyable.

It is so easy to cook and delicious so it is my new vegetarian recipe!
