A cucumber in my balcony grew big enough to pick up.
Before planting cucumber the compost made from my kitchen waste was mixed in the soil. Since lime and other fertilizers were also used, it is not clear how effective the compost I made is, but I am very happy that cucumber is growing well in the soil.
The cucumber fruit was pickled in sweet vinegar. It is really tasty!
While I am (everyone is) suffering from this early summer heat, cucumber is growing lively in the strong sun. It is rich in vitamins and minerals. With vinegar cucumber is easing my tired body.
