Extreme weather events are happening around the world.
We here have the hottest summer, which I think can be one of abnormal events on the globe.
Catharanthus roseus has a high tolerance for heat. Every spring I planted store-bought seedlings and enjoyed seeing the flowers in summer. This year I planted from seeds which I collected from the flowers that bloomed last year.
It took a longer time to have a flower this year than usual but at last, it bloomed. However, there is a mystery. All the flowers that bloomed last year were undoubtedly red.
Why is the flower white?
A cucumber fruit a day is being picked up from the tree.
Actually I was growing three trees but one of them died unfortunately. Another one is growing but slowly. Today I picked the first one from it.
They want lots of water every day. In this very hot summer they are growing up strong and delicious.
