To reduce the number of stray cats in a community, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is becoming popular.
On the way to a neighboring station, a cat is often seen lately. It is very friendly and petted by several people. I am one of them. The right ear is tipped, which indicates that it was castrated and is one of community cats.

Despite its small body like a kitten, the eyes are bright and piercing. It is loved and spoiled by people but as a stray cat it must be surviving in a severe environment.

When I lower myself in front of the cat, it approaches me and often rubs its head against my leg, meowing in a small voice. I like stroking it but it may not like being petted by me very much though it stays with me without moving away.

In my imagination, it likes to be around people but wants to keep independent. I love the cat all the better because of this.
