I have tried out soy meat recipes several times.

Commercially available soy meat is really good. Especially, the texture is excellent; however, I am still struggling to flavor it.

Using Minced type soy meat, I cooked fried rice.

I first fried soy meat well with grilled meat sauce. Then, brown rice, onions, sweet corns and green onions were added. Only salt and pepper were entirely sprinkled.

The taste was ok.

It is known that soy meat is easily made from tofu (soybean curd) at home.

I tried it with atsu-age (deep fried tofu). Slice atsu-age, freeze them in the freezer and microwave them to extract water.

Finally crumble them with hands.

Again, I made fried rice in the same way.

It was not too bad.

How long to microwave frozen atsu-age was the key to make meat texture.

Soy meat products I have bought at supermarkets are really good.

But I would like to find my own recipes.

To do that I need to try more.
