Every year I make pressed flower picking up pedals fallen from cherry trees.
Since the fresh pink color wanes with time, the old one I made in the previous year is replaced into the new one at this point of year. Also for my pleasure I make it a rule to send them to my foreign friends.

This year I made pressed flower as usual and took them to a post office to send them to my friends living in the UK; however, every postal item except letters and postcards could not be delivered to the UK and some other European countries. ”It is probably temporary measures for some reasons and the situation is changeable,” a post officer just said, adding that you could come again another day.

The reason was not told but I wondered whether the worldwide pandemic or war and conflict occurring in foreign countries could affect the international postal service.

The world is one and people are connected each other. We should not remain indifferent to other’s issues.

There is the abundance of information here and there.

Although having said that, it is not easy to care about others in the hectic daily life.

Cherish the present time and thank for every happy moment.

If something unhappy happens to me in future, I would like to try not to be too sad but to thank for the previous days I have happily spent.

Miniature roses on my balcony are beginning to bloom at last.
