Yesterday, February 3 was “Setsubun” (the division of seasons). Winter ends and spring comes. Cold days still continue though. 

On the day of Setsubun beans are scattered as a tradition to attract good fortune and people eat beans as many as the number of their own age.

I bought beans the other day for Setsubun. But after working I felt so tired that I gave up the pleasant event this year and slept earlier last night.


I am eating beans today wishing to bring happiness this year too!
