Tori-bo-Ichi Fair is held at shrine and temples nationwide on Tori-no-Hi (the days of cock) of November.
Under the lunar calendar, Tori-no-Hi is November 11 and 23 this year.
People wish for good luck and prosperity in business and buy rakes decorated with a lot of auspicious goods like fake gold coins, rice bale, flowers and fish. This year I bought an object to place on the table or rack. On a treasure ship, deities of good luck, gold coins, rice stalk, etc. are beautifully decorated. I hope it will bring me good fortune.
